Seedance projects are commonly associated with video, but a production video watermark pipeline needs more than an image uploader. It must preserve codecs, resolution, frame rate, audio, duration, and timing while processing many frames consistently.

What the MVP supports today

The current tool accepts one JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 10 MB. That can be a Seedance still image or a frame exported from a video you own or may edit. MP4, MOV, audio, batch, and URL uploads are not supported.

What preview processing means

The upload, Google sign-in, private R2 storage, job ownership, and temporary download flow are implemented. The processing provider currently copies the input unchanged, so the MVP validates the secure workflow but does not yet deliver production watermark removal.

What native video support requires

A future provider should accept a private video object, process frames consistently, preserve or remux audio, write a separate result, and expose progress through the existing job contract. The public API should remain stable while the provider changes behind the WatermarkProvider abstraction.

Use authorized media only

Keep the original export, confirm you have editing rights, and do not use watermark cleanup to misrepresent authorship, evade licensing, or remove invisible provenance signals.
